Bricks are very strong in compression. Think of the multistory brick buildings you have seen - they have bricks piled on bricks up to the top without the bottom ones cracking. As long as there is a strong foundation under them there is no practical limit to what you can put on.

Brick can take about 9500 psi in compression. When you think of the area of the brick that means one can take 95 tons on its surface. No way a pile of bricks on the bottom brick is going to be worse than that.

Assuming that the foundation and footing are capable of holding the weight, the number of bricks is inconsequential.
