Does the smile face appear the whole time you are ovulating or just when the surge is detected? The directions aren't very clear.

I tested yesterday not expecting to see the smile face but was surprised to see it a few days early - I was afraid I missed my chance.

The smiley face appears when your LH surge is detected--most women get 1 or 2 days of positives. You should ovulate 12-48 hours after the smiley face.

Yes when it detects the surge. Sometimes it will stay smiley for a couple of days. Good luck!
