Originally, doctors & medical care were very simplistic, but now the medical field is very complex.
There are doctors, hospitals and clinics for providing health care but the issue of cost has been an evolving one.
Modern medicine has more elaborate technology but it is also very expensive , more so than individuals can afford.
The solution was the growth of the insurance industry, when workers prepay into plans then, if someone needs care , they are covered from the insurance pool.
Unfortunately, many workers employers do not participate in health insurance plans so when they need care their options are limited , and often need to seek charitable services.
The health care delivery debate , is largely about how to get medical to care to all persons who need it and how to raise enough $$$$ to pay for it.

Health care delivery is the care you get from doctors and nurses. How they take care of not only your health, but, keeping you comfortable and clean. See that you get your rest and are taking the right meds.
