In January I had some breakthrough spotting that was very light and it lasted for 4 days. Like 3 days after the breakthrough spotting I had my period but it was very light. I mean I could of stayed on one pad for the whole day. Is this normal when your on birth control or should I take a pregnancy test. I am not due for another period until the ending of this month.

Are youtaking your pills correctly, I have missed a pill or two and had some light bleeding and then had my normal period. Or you could just be ahving a hormonal change. Take pregnancy test if you are worried.
