He has already kind of announced his plans. He will set up his Presidential Library at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. As well as making available some documents and writings from his time in office, it will have a "think-tank" which will seek to influence the next generation of neo-conservative leaders in the US.

As well as this Bush will, like all his predecessors, earn a fortune from giving lectures around the world, and will be invited to join the Boards of lots of US corporations who think (for reasons known only to themselves) that he has done a good job, so he doesn't need what you and I would call a "proper job".

Why would they not trust him? Are you stupid or just ignorant? I don't know what you do for a living but I think he should become your boss. It would do you a world of good to do exactly as he says for the rest of your life. Exactly as he says.

Well, for one thing, he won't act like the bitter, spot-light hogging, selfish, mean and nasty Clinton or Carter. He won't be spewing bile and lies like they've been.

He'll go to the ranch and write his memoirs, and like his father, use his position as ex-president only for charitable causes. That's what presidents with character do.
