If your period started right after you had sex then it isn't your period, it was from the hymen breaking. It should stop hurting within a few days, but don't be surprised if it hurts and you bleed a little the next time you have sex too. You should definitely use condoms though, you can still get pregnant and get an STD. Wait to see if you get your period when you were expecting to get it, if you don't then take a pregnancy test. If you get a negative result and still don't get your period then wait another week and test again. You should also consider going to the Dr and getting tested for std's sometime soon and you should start going to a gynecologist since you have started having sex.

If you had unprotected sex you may not be pregnant, but could have "caught" a STD. Many men/boys can contract several diseases without knowing they have it. They will then, unknowingly, pass the disease on to the women in their life.

If I were you, I would get to a doctor to be tested for any and all STD's. There are treatments! In the future, don't just worry about pregnancy, but any disease you may contract. People lie. They can tell you they haven't been with another person, they can tell you they are a virgin, they can tell you they are "clean", just to get in your pants. Then you may find yourself with a temporary or life-long disease.
BE MORE CAREFUL in the future...please! The group most associated with contracting STD's is young people between the ages of 14 and 24. This runs the gamete of chlamydia to HIV/AID's. You are not safe.

I agree with Lace you are still a little young to be having sex, you really dont understand the consequences of having sex, pregnancy, stds, there is alot. Just try not to worry about it right now, stressing out will cause your period to be different too. Good luck
