afterbirth is the placenta, the sack that the baby grew in before it was born. I've never been married. If you're going to the dotor for a pelvic exam, you take off ALL your clothes and put on a little paper gown with a big paper sheet to put over your lap. you stay covered all the time, just not in your own clothes.

After you have a baby you wil bleed like a period. Its just your body getting rid of the extra stuff you get while being pregnant. At some point after you find out you are pregnant you will have a pelvic exam. so yes the panties will come off.

Yes, they will want you to undress completely and they will usually want to do a pap smear so they can look at your cervix and uterus.
