Never a waste of time or money. This year I have no special someone, so I will do as have for some time (with or not involved!). I plan to buy sweets, maybe a card, and flowers and take to two elderly ladies whom I have known since I was quite young.
Then I will prolly go out with mates.

i do think it is a waste of money, my husband and i make a pact that the money we would spend on valentines day goes towards a holiday. That way we have something to look foward to, as we know we love each other dearly and dont need gifts to prove it.

It's our anniversary 4 days after valentines day so we'll combine the two as we did last year and prolly go for a nice meal out and maybe a movie.

Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥

I don't know what he has up his sleeve for ME! We'll seeee!!

Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need other ideas, here you go: http://scripts.lovingyou.com/mdb/search....

me and my husband celebrate valentines day every year. I don't think it is a wate of money if you are showing your love one how much you care about them. But you don't have to spend money to do this, there are many ways to show love to someone, especially one way in particular, wink.

Men hate it because their girlfriends will be disappointed no matter what they do. I myself hate roses. Send anyone you love a card..............that's important.
