What do you wish your wife would do that she doesn't?What do you need from her?

I love my wife, but she is into some things that I find mindless and boring. Life reruns of 90210, Sex in the City and Charmed. I mean over and over again. Charmed is on four times a day and an hour for each episode. She also watches old episodes of American Idol. I can't take it. She likes to share her day at work with me, which is fine I want to show interest in her career, but I don't need the entire day in detail.
I wish we could have an intelligent conversation, but when I try and discuss something that is going on she says "I don't get it." Or if there is a topic that we disagree on, like people who are living life their way, maybe a little "loose," she rails on them and if I say something to support their position she assumes that I want that lifestyle for myself. I CAN'T TALK TO HER. I WANT A FRIEND FROM MY WIFE NOT THE EGGSHELLS I HAVE NOW!

I wish my wife would give me a little bit more attention. Men need attention, too. She's not the affectionate type, you know what I mean?

The radio/talk show answer is "I want her to support and be there for me". What we really want is someone who understands that we are men who have men thoughts. We want to see other women naked, we think other women are attractive, we want to hang with the guys, and sometimes we just want to do nothing. Guys dream of a relationship that needs no work but women always want to work on the relationship. Not everything you don't like needs fixing.

My wish, and always has been my wish, is when I do a chore or something nice for her, she would say "Thank you" instead of "Well, its about f**king time you got it done". Or, if I do something and forget to tell her, she doesn't come back to me and say, "Sooooooooo, when were you going to let me know?" Just a little kindness would be appreciated.
