The two kinds I'm interested in are

- the visas that Aussies, New Zealanders and Canadians get to work here for two years or so

- Fresh Talent Working in Scotland visas for people who studied here

Any experiences with this type of thing?

Thanks!

If you are talking about the 'working holiday 2 year visa' -(applicable to 18 -27 old's from commonwealth countries), recent changes only allow you to work 1 out of the 2 years you are entitled to stay in UK.

Both the above mentioned, visa and the Fresh working Talent, visa cannot be extended, however if you are eligible for the Scottish visa, you may be eligible for the HSMP visa which you can apply for yourself , or alternatively a Work permit a little harder to get because you need a company with a job offer for you, willing to apply on your behalf, get some more info on the following site. This is official gov site, will link you to all other related sites depending on what you need.
