People who feel rather than think and who are so overcome by their feelings that they impose their feel-good solutions on everyone-else and refuse to accept when those solutions backfire. People who see someone out of a job and say "we" should have a "program" for him, but who can't understand that the tax burden required to maintain that program comes at the direct expense of private sector reinvestment, which means it comes at the expense of job creation, which means you're just putting some other guy out of work, indirectly but definitely, and it just ends up being government game of musical chairs with jobs.

Liberals remind me of Roman Catholics. I was raised Catholic and Liberal in MA so I have some insight here. Basically Catholics value suffering and sacrifice. Doing something that doesn't involve sacrifice but renders a large benefit to someone else is considered not as ideal as doing something that involves a large sacrifice but doesn't actually net anyone else anything and may actually make things worse. Given a choice between a so-called "tax cut for the rich" that because it allows the economy to reinvest its own earnings thereby growing economic activity ends up creating a third shift at the widget factory, thus enabling Joe Smith to get a job and a tax HIKE that precludes the economic growth thus results in the third shift not being created but that pays for Joe Smith's jobless benefits, they'll take the tax hike. And even if we're on the point of the Laffer Curve when you can have it both ways - keep tax rates low and still get higher revenue - that's no good either because the "rich" aren't suffering enough.

It's all about making people equal by forcing the successful to suffer, by bringing everyone down to the lowest common denominator, when we could improve everyone's situation through economic freedom - just not improve everyone's situation by the same amount.

Hanoi Jane - Al Franken - Sarandon - Penn - all the left wing wackos - The ones who are rich and want to be generous with your money not theirs. The ones who wish to legalize and make normal every abnormal behavior in our Country. ACLU Communists. Socialists who wish to redistribute the wealth through taxes so that the lazy non working class can continue their drug habits and alcohol street corner rituals. Political correctness - you know the feel all warm inside good words - like Happy Holidays - not Merry Christmas - it might offended an atheist. Yet they are the most evil entity on the planet - Their goal is to destroy this Country

Well meaning people who are misguided and idealistic once they grow up they either become moderates or conservatives.

I do find a great deal of hypocrisy though with liberals who claim to be "open minded" or "free thinkers" that strictly vote democrat and will wait until a liberal talking head speaks before they make a decision on an issue.

Man what that senator says makes sense why..oh wait..he's Republican? Then he's wrong! He's a Bible thumping monster! RAAAAAARRRGGHHHH kill kill!

Yeah that's open minded.

Same as I do about conservatives; as an extinct party.

The left of today is not descendant of the Dem party from old, just as the contemporary Rep. party exhibits little trait of their ancestry

I try not to think of liberal men deary. I get a little bile in my throat when I do and sometimes a little puke comes up too. I have the right to choose and as far as liberals go, I choose not to think of them.
