I know several people who have changed their religion before they married and although some have worked out in the end, every single time there has been issues or problems of some sort. For most people, religion is an important part of who they are and you should NEVER change soley to make another person happy - that is where all problems originate. The only times that I have observed that it worked is when the person is truely converted to the new faith.

I also have observed a few marriages where the individuals are of different faiths and the marriages are very strong. The key is to love your spouse and respect them and their beliefs. If you do that, everything will work out fine.

There can be two religions in one household. Each one has to respect the others beliefs.

I know of several marriages that have separate religions in the household.

To me if we do not agree on and believe the same way i would not marry them... I would move on with my life.

I'm not changing anything for anybody. If they disrepect my religion, I will disrepect theirs.
