This laptop has a ton of power and options. for what your looking to do and for what Best Buy has it priced at, this would be a great machine for you! 2GB ram, Intel Core Duo, 160GB Hd, all this will last you well into the future. Good purchase in my opinion!

Personally I like Online you can do classes at your own pace and you can finish classess faster if you would like too. Oh better yet you can go to class in your Pajamas. and Drink Coffee in class at any time of the day or night so when you work your best! And you dont have to put makeup on to go out in public ohhh THATS REAL NICE! I did it both ways in NY. ACC and Also got a diploma via online~ Travel and Tourism from another State Florida so that was also nice. And You dont have to pay for a Dorm Room! That is another added bonus! :)

I think is a great buy for your needs, just remember that the installed security suite is only a 90 day trial, so make sure that you either purchase a new one or you purchase the full year support for the one that is installed. The same applies for the Microsoft Office Suite that is installed, nut instead of purchasing a new one you can use http://www.openoffice.org is a free Office Suite that has all of the features and programs you need.

Can you give some more details?
Regarding browsing, storing pictures, even a laptop with minimum of configuration is fine. But when talking about online classes, you need a good speed processor and a good RAM. Your processor seems to be fine. Isn't there any speed mentioned with it. Something in Ghz?
If you can give in some more details, i can give you some more feed-back.

There is a website at Portatech.com that tells you how fast your pc is depending on the cpu that is in it. Give that a try, it should help.

if you have already ordered it dont you think its too late to ask for advice. I would suggest buying a macIntosh. You dont see them crashing or even updating their windows every other year and paying a fortune.
