i have had the rod out for 4 weeks now but still i have not had a period yet. is that normal?

no im not on any other controceptive. we are trying for a baby but just thought it was odd that i have not had a period

I had the rod out middle of november, i bled slightly 2 days later, then had a period middle of december thought in january i was pregnant, had all the simptoms but came on was 10 days late. was told by nurse it could be my hormones with having rod out, but my friend had hers taken out got pregnant 5 weeks later had a miscarriage at 7 weeks, she had another period then got pregnant the next month and is 8 weeks pregnant, so it can happen that quick good luck.

yes that is common. You are using other controceptive???

yes its normal as your hormones have not gone back to re balancing them selves yet..give it a few more weeks then if still no joy consult a doctor,good luck xx
