Does it really bother you this much that she likes you? Do you have to explain yourself to her or you just not strong enough to start ignoring her? She knows and all of us know (i hope) that you make someone like your or love you forcefully. So she is trying hard so you like her, well let it be. Let her do HER. DOnt pay attention to it. Unless you messed something up and got her hoping for something....if thats the case you need to appologize and tell her how you really feel. If you have to say that you dont like females (u never mentioned if you do or dont) then tell her that. She will fall off your a** like a dry leaf. Trust me! I was in your situation before but it happened to me after knowing this girl for more then 3 years closely. We were best friends, and one day she just came from nowhere saying she want to do me. I was shocked and i laughed at it at first making it sound like i took it as a joke but i knew she was serious because later she would come on at me again with her BS. So thats when i had to break it down to ABC style that even if i was into females i wouldnt never do stuff to her. I know sounds harsh but if it really bother you so much then you have to say it. Sorry but thats nothing but the truth here. I cant comment any different.

Be sincere to her, let her know that you do not have the same feelings towards her, tell her this nicely, without hurting her feelings or judgeing her.
I would do this ASAP, to avoid her getting more emotionally involved with you , complicating things.

Well if your are straight tell her that. But if you would normally be interested in "girls" just not this particular girl then do what anyone should do in that situation let her down easily without being hurtful.

well, just start talking about how you are happy that you guys are FRIENDS and stress the friends part.....say that you'r happy that you can come to her for advise when you have guy trouble....see if you can get a guy friend to pose as your bf....works everytime. Nothing says i'm not gay like having a bf

well just because someone likes you doesnt mean you need to be friends with them..just try and be nice to everyone you know and hang out with the people you like just try not to hurt the girls feelings

tell her that you as much as you respect her sexuality you you hope she respects yours. and you are straight and dont like girls. if she keeps coming on to you after that i think you should cut her out of your life in a civilized way.
