I think they will make the playoffs and into at least the second round because of the weakness of the Eastern Conference and Shaq and D-Wade should be back to full form by then. But I think this is finally the Wizards year to make it to the championship, where although I have a lot of hope I think they'll be beat 4-2 or so by either the Mavericks or Suns.

No, they are like 19-25 Ws vs Ls at this point in the season and Shaq is fat and slow. They have had 2-3 players that have been suspended for physical health reasons as far as not being in shape and not attending team workouts. Also, Wade can't carry the team without Shaq AT ALL. If Shaq was 150% healthy then they might be able to make a run but he is just getting injured way too much and in event it is causing him to get slower and gain more weight due to lack of workouts. It would be a major surprise if they can make it to the playoffs and compete with the Suns, Wizards, Cavs and Spurs.

In order to win an NBA championship the heat have to get past dallas, phoenix , chicago , los angeles, utah, san antonio , cleveland , orlando, and minnesota. It is not happening this year. I don't care if shaq comes back or not there is just way to much competition for this old , tired team to repeat. Even if by some miracle they get to the finals they are going to have to play an excellent team from the very talented western conference. If they get past the first round I will be surprised. If they win again I will jump right onto the bandwagon and pledge my allegiance. It's is not happening. there is absolutely no way.

Highly Unlikely

Absolutely not, I find it very unlikely that anyone other than the Phoenix Suns will win it this year. Miami is decent, but no where near good enough to win the title.

Yeah right, They wasn't even suppose to win last year, but that does show how shaq can change a team with one good player. (shaq & kobe) (shaq & wade). but this year it wont happen they may make it to the finals cause the east is terrible, but no championship.

They have a chance once Shaq is back. They are a whole different team with and without him in the lineup but I believe ot will be a definite uphill struggle.

I somehow knew at the beginning of last season that the Heat were gonna win it all, so I believe they will win again

No. Team is built around Shaq and Shaq diesel has too many miles. Once the team is built around D Wade, then you can open hope again.
