How does anxiety affect you in your everyday life? If it's an ongoing thing, how do you cope? Do you ever feel like it's impossible to make a decision, because of the fear you have of the unknown future? I just wanted some feedback since I am a libra myself, and I thought maybe I'd have something in common with people of my sign :) Thanks in advance.

I agree with Miguel also..I don't take astrology very seriously but I do love to see the commonalities in people who are of the same sign, as well as how accurate some astrologers and psychics are when it comes to your characteristics and personality. It's not like I revolve my life around it, ahem Tacyella..I'm just curious!

I will always have those feelings. What changes is how you deal with them. There will be a time when you realize that the sooner you make the call, for good or bad, the better off you will be. That way, these things don't start piling up.
Think of it this way, since the future is unknown, make it a little more of YOUR future by making a decision.
Whenever I get anxious, I concentrate on the task/question/dilema. I weigh what is good for me against what I want. I then compare THAT result with how it will effect other people. I then factor in how important those people are to me.
THen I reach down into my pocket, to the very bottom, and get a coin to toss. lol. just kidding :)

i am not a libra but i am sorrounded by them. all the traits you just described sound very much like most of the libras i know. the inability to make a decision and then the inability to be content with the decision made are two traits my boyfriend is famous for! hope you feel better for knowing you're not alone in this. why not check out some of the great astrology websites so you can learn about all the positive aspects of the libra personality... you might feel better about things. libras are survivors, you'll get through this life, yet.

The reason why it's hard for us to make decisions is because we have the rare gift of seeing two completely opposite and seemingly opposing sides to everything--the "devils's advocate" trait. It gives us an insight that not many people have. We balance these antagonistic issues on our mind's scale and using the dialectical process, usually come up with an ingenius and wonderful solution that synthesizes the two differing viewpoints. We Libras are one of the most progressive and understanding of signs, and since we're right smack dab in the middle of the Zodiac, we incorporate a lot of the other signs' traits within us. After all, homeostasis is NOT static but constantly growing and adapting--thus we incorporate and "try out" new viewpoints and emotions. In short, we rule!! ^_^

My husband and I are both libras, our birthdays are just 9 days apart and we are very much alike in all things Libra, but in certain areas, one of us can be stronger than the other because of personality traits that were shaped by experience (nature vs. nurture).
Admittedly, we're both horrible with making decisions QUICKLY. Contrary to popular belief, Librans are actually excellent decision makers, we just take a really long time because we weigh out every conceivable pro and con before arriving at an answer. Now this does create some issues with the two of us both having the same inclination to take forever, but in the end, it's a good thing because between the 2 of us, we're usually able to explore every possible avenue, thereby resulting in a well-informed and well-thought out final decision.
In terms of anxiety over fear of the unknown and how your decisions can affect future events, this is where my husband and I differ. He seems to take the path you do in being overly concerned with making a misstep or a wrong turn somewhere along the way, resulting in dire consequences later on -- he thinks things to death and ultimately winds up in a situation of what I like to call "analysis paralysis".
I, on the other hand, am just as capable of thinking things to death... but unlike my husband, I will eventually arrive at a decision one way or the other at some point -- usually where he can't. What's my secret? Two things:
1.) Whatever it is you're fretting over... will the outcome of this decision have a major impact on the course your life takes? Will you be a different person, in a different place 10 years from now based on what you do about this decision?
If you've answered "yes", then take all the time you need to think it through until you arrive at a conclusion that you feel is best for you. It might not be perfect, but nothing ever is... you just have to accept that you've done your best to do what's best for you (see #2).
If you've answered "no", then think it through... but don't hold up your entire life trying to figure it out. It's minor, treat it like it's minor.
2.) Have faith in yourself, and in the fact that if you're a good person and treat others with the same respect you would expect to receive yourself... that everything will be fine -- because it will.
If I could list out every instance where these 2 things have helped me out, you'd be reading for months... but suffice it to say, I am completely happy and content with my life right now, and I got where I am today by following these 2 philosophies. I would recommend them to any Libra, and any person looking for guidance on how to face and overcome obstacles in life.
Good luck!

Hi, I'm a Libra too!
Yes, I am very indecisive when feeling down, because i don't know what tomorrow brings, and want to take it every step at a time to get there, again, that's just when I'm feeling down, because i don't want more upsets on top of that one. I'm usually prepared for what's next.
I tend to go into depressed mode at times, I think because I don't socialize much because of traveling back and forth to school. When I'm not around people for a while, I get lonely, and we Libras hate that.
We love to get out there and lend our hands, have fun with our friends, and our hubbies. We can casually date, but I think i just messed up with that. I won't get all into detail, but I'm am pretty much a wreck when it comes to making decisions at the wrong time.

i am a scorpio but what i have noticed with the traits of libras are that they scale out justice and get caught between two sides of opinion which creates anxiety and confusion....but they always seem to make the right decision :)
