This is a survey. What can we do for our son's 30th birthday in April. We don't have much money and he doesn't want a surprise part or even a big to do. 30 is a big deal, what can we do?

You can make sure you know how he feels about turning 30 first. It didn't bother me because I felt like it gave me more respect, but some people get worried and feel they're losing their youth. So I hope your son has a great and memorable birthday and hope that you tailor it to suit his feelings.

how about a fondue party? You can get a cheap pot from a thrift store, do spagetti sauce with garlic bread, pasta shells, and chicken nuggets to dunk, or cheese fondue with bread and veggies to dunk. We have fondue parties all of the time-lots of fun.

I just turned 30 and I just wanted to ignore it. Maybe he feels the same way.
