Students in america?

I have a question for my economics class. "Why do wealthier students tend to do better academically and in life than students who are financially challeged? I need help finding information. Websites? charts? i narrowed it down to high school students in america. so plz help me out.

I think you need to look at the level of education their parents have as well attitudes toward schoolwork/college/etc. May also need to research demographics for both a low income area as wellas an middle/upper class area. Good Luck. It sounds like you have a tough assignment.
