The theme is Community Helpers. But, it doesn't HAVE to relate to it. Please give any ideas you may have!!

I mean community helpers such as police officers, firemen, mailmen, etc

If you have enough of them...take a plasic bag make sure that it has not holes in them. Take a straw and stick it inthe bag with a part out so that you can blow air into it. Put the bags on a table with everyone circle around it ready to blow, while you get some adult helpers to put an equal weight table on top. Have the kids blow into and the bags all at the same time and see the table rise showing that if you all work together like a community that anything can happen. Also it ties into science. I hope that this helps.

Could you be more specific about community helpers? I'm thinking about ants, bees, termites, meerkats, hyenas, prarie dogs - animals that live in communities.

well, making volcanos is always an awesome idea. clay for the volcano part, and baking soda and vinager for the lava ( red food coloring to make it look like lava). lol
