It always helps when you can talk with someone close to you. Can you talk to your husband? Maybe your mom. If not, then I'm sure the Army provides counselors. And at least you have a community like Yahoo! Answers. I've found a lot of comfort here.

Whats wrong with forming a group with the other army wives and meeting once a month to discuss any problems or events which come up in your lives. It's a great way of making long lasting friendships and helping each other out at the same time. just remember no one can judge another person you are only there as a listening tool and a little friendly advice should they want it.

Get a job, or join an activity group, or do charity work. Anything to get you out of your house a couple of days a week. Believe me, it only takes a couple of days a week to make you feel much better. If you have kids to take care of that don't go to school, pick something where they can come along. Or try going out and taking the to the park or another activity.

April, I take it your husband is deployed?..
Have you joined the vfrg?.. You need to get busy doing something to help take your mind off things.. Maybe join a good group on the internet who are married to deployed soldiers?.. Talk to your husband's rear detachement Co and see if he can't get you hooked up with some things..
Your not alone dear and thank you for your sacrafices.. I have two son's in the Army and one of them is in Iraq.. God Bless you..

Sweetie, you need to get out of your house!! Get together with just a couple of other women, and maybe plan an activity that does not revolve around talking about your husbands' situations. Start a craft group, or a group that visits nursing home residents after going out to eat. Go to church and mingle with nonmilitary people. Join an aerobics group. Go to a park with a walking track. Go to the mall.
