Unfortunately she's going to do what she wants. All you can do is try to step in an not allow her outside time with her "friends" or keep her busy after school so she won't have the chance to go have sex. But again, she is 18 and can do whatever she wants. Unfortunately it sounds like she's going to learn her lesson the hard way...she's 18 and should know better!

My superb pal have been given pregnant together as using a condom whilst she grew to become into twenty 2. It grew to become into needless to say unplanned. She married the guy that have been given her pregnant and stored the infant. She never had to be married or have babies. yet, her existence took a diverse direction. She has now struggled her entire existence to maintain her marriage together and it has no longer been straight forward for her. It would not make any experience to no longer use greater effective delivery administration. tell her to get an IUD. they're risk-free, do no longer safeguard against STD's yet they're in place for ten years and save you from gettting pregnant. Why take the possibility?? yet, as a mom, all you're able to do is wish :)

You have two options:
1) Ground her and keep her out of those situations until she is living on her own
2) Prepare to be a grandmother
Seriously, she may be 18 but she lives in your house and she follows your rules. If she keeps acting like this, she's not only going to end up pregnant and ruin her future but she will also contract an STD and be the school slut.

I sorry but, she's 18 and an adult if she doesn't want your advise leave her alone and let here find out the hard way. I know you love her and only want the best but, you can only do so much. If she lives with you tell her to follow your rules or get out. I know it's cruel but that's the only way you might be able to control her. I should know my mom tried to tell me the same thing. I'm 17 with a baby. Luckily my bf step up to the plate. I wish my girlfriends had the same fate.
Before I get any rude comments I take care of mine and I'm about to be married plus me and my soon to be husband have our own house! I hear too much bs bout how teens don't take care of there kids.

If she is 18 then she is at the age that she thinks she can do anything. The only thing you can try . and I say try . Is to bribe her. Ask her to get the birth control (Depo is perfect.Because then you know she won't forget it. )Then ask her to finish school for a bribe. You offer her something that she might want. I can't say it will work because she is 18 and a lot of 18 year olds are headstrong about being old enough to do what they want. And if she is living in your house don't tell her to stop or you will kick her out. Because this will only make her leave and say I don't care. Well best of luck to you.

A girl at this stage is out of control, you don't give her advice or talk about her behavior, because reasoning with a teenager is perceived as nagging
She needs to know the consequence or better yet, scare tactics. My mom used to tell me and my sister, if we were to get pregnant, she would throw us out, I know she meant it, that's why it's affective.
I would also suggest you to gather up pictures of STDs from a medical book, I was so freaked out by them, that I wouldn't let any guy touch me until I was married.

Im sorry lady but your daughter is 18 what can you do? She is old enough to make her own mistakes and learn from them. All you can do is hope she does. Yes she does live with you still and is in high school but according to the law she is of age to make adult decisions whom she is having sex with how many how often when where .... are all her decisions.

You've tried talking to her, it hasn't work, so try the next step. The next step is taking her to a youth worker and they can talk sense into them....trust me, I did that with my daughter when she was sleeping with different guys. She was really shocked that a total stranger told her what can happen. Tell her all of the risks, everything. You've got to keep pushing sense into her head as much as you can. But, once she gets out of your house, there is not much she can do. She just doesn't understand what kind of problems can occur, and she needs somebody to tell her. Good luck!!

See the thing is if you tell her that she needs to stop she is only going to keep on doing it just because that is what teens do. They so the opposite of what we want them to do. You need to go to her and say "Look if you are not careful you will end up pregnant weather she uses condoms or not. Tell her the birth control is just extra precaution, and that if she chooses not to take it then that is the choice she is making and she will have to deal with the a baby if she does become pregnant. Or maybe on the other hand she wants to have a baby who knows.

Who is the mother? You are! Take control over her! She has no say so! If she doesn't like your rules than kick her out the damn house, she is 18! If she's grown enough to have sex, she's grown enough to take care of herself!
