I wanted to see Black Snake Moan, untill I found out he's in it. Now you couldn't pay me to see it. Same with Alpha dog, or whatever it's called.

They know that there are a lot of really corny people out there (namely chicks) who will throw away good money on anything that flamer does. Maybe if he was in "Hostel 2" strapped to a chair and being tortured for 90 minutes I might consider seeing him in a film. Other than that, forget it!

He's trying to be an actor, and actually, when Alpha Dog got pretty bad reviews, most of them turned around and said "Timberlake doesn't save the movie, but then again nothing could"
So he may be going the Will Smith route instead of the Britney Spears or Mariah Carey.

He is a famous singer and popular with a lot of people. They figure he is famous and hot that many people will want to see his movies especially the girls. But i have been hearing that he is actually really good in them.

If a greater number of people pay to see him, then your small opinion will be lost to the corporate movie making machine. I got sick of Tom Cruise a long time ago. I just stopped buying the tickets. Get ready to see a lot more of Michael Jackson Jr..

Umm...actually...many singers crossover to movies...some not as successfully as others. However, from what I understand, he didn't do halfbad at acting in Alpha Dog.

He's popular because he's cute. He got a job on the Mickey Mouse Club because he's cute. He was in N'Synch because he's cute. He is in movies because he's cute. In other words, he's bringing "sex sells" back. That's all there is to it.
