Let's flip the question a bit.

What if, while global warming IS real, it is a natural phenomenon which is not caused by humanity and therefore cannot be stopped or slowed?

Because that's what's going on. Anyone know how the polar ice caps on Mars are melting if it's our fault? Are the martians driving SUVs, etc.? Or maybe it's just a natural, solar occurance that will blow over in time?

I listened to some demo. idiot talking this on the news the other day. " There was no snow this year; what was that white stuff in the mid-west this month? Hurricanes? ; not this year and what about the one that hit Galvestan back in the late 1800's, was that carbon from the cars too? what about camile in 1969, the hurrican that hit the gulf coast? one more question; what was the technology used 100 years ago to proove what scientist are pushing today? It would be sad to spend the time and money spent just to say " nothing to worry about", might make them look stupid now wouldn't it. Hey, BOO the BOOGIE MAN gonna getcha. What's next?

We can ignore it and let our desendants worry about it. I think that is best. Why should we have to spend our tax dollars to clean up what all these big corporations spewed into the air and water. That is the main problem. Not our cars. They want us to think it our cars to that we can't object to paying additional taxes. by the wealthy and powerful at every opportunity.

Well, then we'd be wasting our time over some science that we don't understand. Wouldn't be the first time, eugenics anyone?
