WWE doesn't officially call it wrestling, they call it "Sports Entertainment."

Obviously, you're not a wrestling fan. Oh, sorry...a fan of sports-entertainment. That's fine....that's your choice. But, if you're going to ask this question, let's look at a few other things.
1.) Why is Major League Baseball's championship series called the "World Series"? There are not teams from all over the world playing...just 2 countries. (USA and Canada).
2.) Why are the NBA Champions referred to as the World Champions? Again, only 2 countries have teams in the NBA.
3.) Why are boxers called boxers? They don't do anything with boxes.
Sports-entertainment is planned out. I will not argue that point with you. However, it does take a lot of athleticism to do some of the things that 'wrestlers' do. Not just any person off the street could get in the ring and do some of those moves.

You want to know who "be wack"? Young idiots who question why people have different interest in entertainment. This a free country so wrestling fan or not we can find enjoyment in whatever. A baseball fan may ask why I like NBA instead of baseball because he may find it less entertaining than the MLB. I like to watch The Wire, so do I bash the man that likes The Sopranos? So what, do we knock each other for liking different things. It's just entertainment nothing more nothing less. A show with a script. Get a life homey.

It is entertainment but those guys are athletes and that is not easy to do. Of course it is a show but each "Wrestler" has a special routine that I think can be quite funny. Sometimes it is a great escape from reality to look at something so moronic.

I really dont see everyone's beef with WWE, it is an entertaining show...they aren't claiming to be real wrestlers, but the fact is, just like every other scripted show on television, it is simply trying to draw an audience. It is called sports entertainment, if you don't like it, dont watch it, but just realize that their are people out there that do enjoy it. Proof: ask another question asking people to name 10 college wrestlers right now, and then ask one to name 10 WWE wrestlers, lets see who gets more responses

Either way you look at it, it's wrestling. Yeah it's planned out, but it's not dancing. I don't know of dancers giving a Irish whip into a Somoan drop to eachother. Or giving a nice "WOOOOOOO" and then proceed to administer the ever so graceful figure four leg lock to their down and out dance partner. Either way, if it's discraceful to you then just switch over to some college wrestling. Kinda boring though.

i don't know the answer to your question
but i did enjoy reading a couple stereotypical wrestling fans' replies
you can spot the ones....they totally ignore the question you asked, and get all defensive...while using bad English....
props to the one fan who maturely discussed his opinion.
