Well first and second trimester abortions are mainly performed. The farther along you are the more expensive and dangerous it gets. But depending on the state you live in and the clinic you go to determines on the services. First trimester abortions are the most common and the safest procedure. If you're 3-5 weeks you can get a pill, 6-16 weeks they perform a vaccum evacuation from the uterus. I am prochoice so I am not here to judge so if you are wondering for yourself or someone the best advice I can give you is to handle it as soon as possible, but make sure that is what you want to do because it is a difficult decision and can affect you mentally emotionally and physically. 1/3 of women will have an abortion in their lifetime so most likely you know someone that has had one and don't know it.
Again, I am going to say for anyone making comments that no one should judge anyone because no one has a right to tell another woman what to do with her body and everyone has their reasons for going through with it. If it is a matter of religious beliefs or whatnot, put it in God's hands and not your own. Abortion is not an easy thing for many women to go through and it's bad enough that there's not people that they can talk to or get counseling for it because they're afraid of being scrutinized and being shunned upon. So don't get on here doing the same. Thank you.

First let me say I feel for the pain that you must be in having to make this decision. I want to tell you that as a former fertility patient please consider adoption. There are so many loving married couples out their that would give your baby a loving home. Having an abortion will effect you for the rest of your life, just remember you will have to live with this decision. It is your decision but make sure that is what you really want because there are other options.

You can get an abortion up until your 3rd month of pregnancy, there are several types of abortions that you can consider. I am not for abortion but I do not think anyone on here has any room to judge someone for making a decision that is right for her. I would never consider it but I would support anyone who feels its what they need to do. I would say you just need to get information about it and talk it over with the father or someone you can trust to help guide you through a tough time. I wish you the best of luck and may GOD help you through this.

You can get one as soon as you find out you're pregnant. I got pregnant when I was 17...... I had a miscarriage though. Any time you have sex, even with protection.. you can become pregnant. So please if you aren't ready for consquenses, don't do it. Have you thought about adoption? Giving someone a chance to be parents, that wouldn't have the chance otherwise?

It has to be done by 12 weeks in most states. The sooner the better.

I am not sure, but if you do it, you want to make sure that it is still a fetus and not a baby. before 9 weeks i would say.
