Just be SURE they're inactive. Some types have NO inactive pills, and some actually have iron in them to help you to avoid period related anemia. And some types (YAZ for example) have fewer sugar pills than other types.
Under normal circumstances, no, you don't need to take them. They're there only to remind you to take a pill EVERY day...and some women NEED that.

No i'm currently on Yasmine, i'm not good at taking pills, lo even when they are really small i just hate taking them. But no you don't have to take them, they're basically just reminders. You know so you can keep the pace of taking them. But they have no effect or anything like that. As long as you remember to take them you're cool.

No you do not have to take them. They are "reminder" pills to keep you in the practice of taking your pills at the same time everyday.

No, these are placebo's and/or sugar pills. They are only there to remind you of when you should be on your period, and when you should restart the cycle of pills.
You do not NEED to take them if you can remember when to start the 'real' pills.

I never did! And it never affected me! They are sugar pills anyway, just to keep you in the habit of taking a pill a day!

You don't have to, but it is a good idea to because it will keep on track as far as remembering to take your actual pills.

They were designed to help illiterate women who cannot read their temperatue and identify their days of ovulation. If you are really smart to work out the right days of ovulation with your doctors, you dont have to swallow those ineffective pills. But be sure about your smartness. You can land your self in a mess for being smarter than the dumb sisters.

It is not necessary, it just keeps you on a schedule so you won't forget to start them again when it's time.
Note: some have iron in them so it could be beneficial to go ahead and take them in that case.

no, but you should take them anyway. they keep the habit going. if you stop taking any for a week, it will be easier to forget to take the effective ones.
your best bet is to ignore what i said and pretend you HAVE to take them.
