I am Anemic and equally have a tiny fibroid on my uterus. I lost alot of blood during menstruation and also experience heavy blood clot. My Dr. said my situation is genetic and he prescribed me iron and calcium. I have been married for two years now and unable to have kids. I wish to know if I am on a greater risk here. Will I be able to have kids? My period is very irregular and that's scary. I'm I dying? I need help. Thanks in advance.

eat things that helpl build up blood. ick.. liver, dark green leafy veggies.
I know your doc said genetic, but I found from experience that they usually don't have a clue.
As far as getting pregnant, have sex every day for two weeks before and two weeks after your period, you won't miss your ovulation that way.
Get a second opinion from another dr. I had periods that were aweful. 10 days long, wearing 2 overnight pads and a tampon and had to change every 15 minutes. i was anemic. Come to find out after 10 yrs of dr's telling me to try this or that.... I had adenomyosis. Its kind of like endometriosis but confines itself in the uterine wall. my uterus was always the size of a 3 month pregnancy. The only cure for adenomyosis is a hysterectomy. I have 3 daughters and so it didn't bother me at all.

Anaemia is a condition of insufficient blood in your body. It can range from moderate to very severe. In severe conditions, it can cause several other diseases and conditions to develop. If there is an extreme deficiency, your doctor would not have sent you home without urgent remedial treatment. So you rest assured that your present condition is moderate. The tiny fibroid tumour is also a routione condition with such patients. There are efficacious remedies available to combat anaemia and fibroids.

Do consult a good General Practitioner or Gynaecologist and get timely help to rectify both the conditions. If need be , the fibroid can be surgically removed. It can be shrunk using Homoeopathic or Ayurvedic medicine as well. Anaemia is better corrected through dietary correction.

There is afair chance that you can have children before youu turn thirty five . Do not get afraid.

you should discuss your fears with your gyn. Youre probably not dying any sooner than the rest of us. The heavy and irreg periods prob account for the anemia. No reason you describe here would prevent you from having children.
