Money can buy happiness...IF you are happy with the things that money can purchase. Happiness essentally means 'you feel good when things are happening'. Happiness....happening. Get it? Money cant buy joy....or peace of mind, or a clear conscience, or love, or health. All the things that are lasting and bring the MOST joy to a persons life.....money can't touch. Can money buy happiness? SURE it can.....if you're a material kinda person.

You kinda answered yourself bro. Myself, hapiness isn't a possesion that comes and goes with my payments from work, it's found in unexpected places and often when I lose money or after having a real crap day, s*** feels better after a long struggle. It's just paper with some significance added to it. It's not a good idea to like it to the point of worship though. There is alway some one with more of it and someone with less of it than you.

Yes it can, but only short term happiness in a capitalist's mind! In our society, we need money (and are encouraged to earn as much of it as possible in order to spend of all of it as fast as possible!) to "survive" (that's in "our" modern day society!), yet in the real open world that is out there somewhere, money no longer is of much importance and happiness is in the mind and heart. Very utopic I know, but Life's not worth living if you have any hope ;-)

It may not be able to actually buy happiness - but it sure does help. Happiness is held inside each of us - we just need to let it flow - but money can help get you things that seem important -
It sure want buy you into heaven !

Money helps to cope with life. Someone who is rich can be happier at times but money itself does not provide happiness. That is up to the person. You are what you are.
