I'm having trouble with this one too.
I was thinking about making him a nice dinner.
Something that is his favorite treat - does he like cookies? Twinkies? Whatever... get a box & wrap it up...
Cute underwear go a long way for both of you. Tell him - you thought they would look sooo cute on him (says you were thinking about him). Then when he tries them on, go a little crazy on him and say you were right... Happy Valentines Day!

OK very cheesy but I did it for my guy at the time and he was 27 and absolutely loved it. I went to Wal-Mart and bought a cheap valentine scrap book kit with lots of stickers and little love trinkets ($4.00), in the craft section there are little wooden boxes with cute little buckles to close it ($2.00 or less), then I got glitter glue pens to decorate the box ($4.00).

I decorated the box with the pens ( I wrote our initials on the top and a heart with a arrow through it) then cut little pieces of paper with messages about the things we have shared and cute messages about the things I love about him etc, and sealed each one with the stickers from the scrap book. I wrapped it in a little box, then got a bigger box and wrapped it in there then I took a big box and filled it with tissue paper that was sprayed with the perfume he loves the best on me then wrapped it!

I think it's just enough of what you need, not expensive at all and very thoughtful. I hope I gave you a good idea.... you can always add this gift with something else if you want to give more. There's not even a card necessary for this gift!

Girl BF- A charm (like a heart that both of you have half of), a card you made yourself with a poem, a diary(if she write in one) that have her name on it and both of your pictures inside it or on the cover.
Guy BF- A charm (similar to the first but not so girlish/girlee, a card you made yourself with a poem, matching t-shirts that says something like (we eat together, we party together, we have fun together, etc.)

Something that comes from you, from your heart, and is unique and original.
