spooler service?

i am trying to re-install my printer,but i have a message that says my spooler service has stopped!!! even after i have started it/turned it on.
anyone have any clues or solutions.

Check that the service has not been disabled in administrator tools services.

Right click on it select properties and make sure it is set to automatic. If not set it then restart the machine.

Admin tools can normally be found in control panel.
