It depends on how far south or north you are. In the Tropics there is virtually know noticeable change, whereas in the arctic the daily change is very high. The change is even noticeable between southern England and Scotland. At this time of year the change in London is about 3 minutes 20 seconds a day, while in Edinburgh it is about 4 minutes 10 seconds a day.

I was always led to believe that the daylight hours increased by nearly 2 minutes a day.
