computer question for you computer gods out there?

i am a computer idiot,, yes i admit it,,so please help, my computer is 2 years old and its a dell,, when i put in a web site to go to sometimes that little flag in the corner just waves and nothing else happens, i can leave it that way for ever and it will just keep doing it until i shut off the computer and restart it then its back to normal,, what gives with it,, thnks

Scan the pc, for viruses and spyware.

It might have a Virus or Something. DO you have any protection on the computer?

get a internet service,without it you can never go online.
