I would continue to have Flair maintain a close relationship with DX, learn all of their weaknesses and secrets, and soon as HBK or HHH reclaim the title, have Flair turn his back on DX, prompting a feud between Naitch and DX. Once this begins and it is clear that Flair is outnumbered (1 heel to 2 babyfaces) start having HBK and HHH mysteriously jumped backstage when alone. At the zenith of the feud, have flair challenge for the title against one of dx with the other at ringside. Let victory elude flair until the calvary comes out of the crowd "Blanchard, Anderson, and Windham/Luger/Ole Anderson." And once again for the 17th time Flair walks that aisle. This could prompt a short feud between the ageless Horsemen and DX, and be great way to send flair out of the game. Once One of DX recaptures the title, introduce a new thorn in their side...........................Nash...............Hall......................Hogan..................need I say more.
Or you could just go with an easy story line Cena vs Austin for the label of the baddest S.O.B. to walk the earth.
Or you could have the Phenom attempt to be the first to simultaneously unify the WWE/World/and ECW titles then rest in peace mysteriously vanishing vacating all three titles.

Get rid of ECW ... Merger WWE and TNA. Then I would bring back hogan for a while and pit DX against NWO, the fans would love it and it would make tons of money.

I'd write a story line of how an actual WRESTLER, like Joe Williams, storms the ring and kicks the butt of every single one of these tights-wearing ballerinas who have the GALL to call themselves wrestlers.
WWE, ECW and TNA is NOT WRESTLING!! They are carefully scripted soap-operas for men questioning their own sexuality.

I would AKNOWLEDGE that John Cena gets boo'd at every city he goes and fire his over rated as. Either that or write that his character not being such an idiot.
Every show would start with a "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" too.
