I had a period on December 29th-30th. I was supposed to start again on Jan. 26th and missed. I was on Yaz birth control. Thinking maybe I was pregnant, I stopped taking the pill. I still have not started. I got negative on home test and on blood test. Now I am kinda wanting to get pregnant. Could I still be pregnant? When would I ovulate again?

"If you had only had the home test I would have said maybe, but the blood test is accurate. Your period is not that late, I would wait a few more days and see what happens. Make an informed decision about having a baby... don't just have one cause you are dissapointed that you aren't pregnant this time. I hope you are old/mature enough to bring a child into this world. "

You don't know my so don't assume anything. I am old/mature enough to have a kid. You are being tacky. As a matter of fact I already have one daughter.

Most of the time EPT's are accurate and blood tests are even more accurate, so if they both came back negative you are probably not pregnant.

If you were pregnant now it would be:
Conception date: January 12, 2007
Due date: October 6, 2007
You were ovulating around Jan 12.

If you were to become pregnant after this cycle it would be:
Conception date: February 9, 2007
Due date: November 3, 2007
Which means you will be ovulating around Feb. 9th.

The blood test is pretty accurate. I would think you're not pregnant and just skipped a period. It's possible, even if you're on the pill. If you want to know when you ovulate, there are ovulation predictor kits that you can buy at Wal-mart or other stores that will help you know when you ovulate. Since you missed your period it may be hard to tell when you're going to ovulate.

Good luck!

You can have a false negative pregnancy test. Did you take the pill the correct way ? If not your body May just be adjusting to the pill. Ii didn't take my pill the correct way and missed for a while, I have also started new pills and had two long periods in a month. I would wait a week and go take another test.

If you're not pregnant it's most likely stress or illness that's delaying your menses. Birth control pills usually help regulate that. You should ovulate in about 2 wks.

I would get checked out by a Doctor. It sounds like you might have something else wrong. Good luck and keep us posted.
