Is there a certain stereo type for people who are always going to the pub?
you know "pub people" as I like to refer to these kind of people, what do you think of them?

Usually a clannish sort of drunk who keeps the rest of us from getting good service when we go to a pub for a little refreshment and a meal.

Not nearly as amusing as the barmen make them think they are.

People who go to the pubs all the time are people who dont know how to live life purposefully amd meaningfuly . They find pleasure in these things which take there mind off the real world, temporarily... They find that they can hide from the real problems by constantly going to the pub and drinking... Such people are generally depressed.... They have have lost the way to think logically and positively.... Alcohol and pub life seem to attarct their minds....

What is there to think, they are going there to have a good time, they might not be having a good time in the house with a complaining or nagging wife and children, so they escape to the pubs, and enjoy themselves.

Some go for the drink, some for the atmosphere and some for the social side of things. There are worse places to go. I don't go to the pub often because of the smell of cigarettes - that will change soon so I will go more often.

My parent's run a pub.

Do you meant the types that are obviously sad, pathetic, alcoholics, with no friends, that spend all lunch time chatting up the barmaid and looking at her butt?

I think they are Damn lucky b*stards with little or no responsibilities unless of course they are sad old alcoholics then I feel sorry for them you know the middle age ladies trying to recapture their youth drunk at the bar on a Tuesday night, or the old geezers who are drunk by noon. Not sure if alcoholism is considered a stereotype.....

If that's all they want out of life and they're happy, and they're not hurting anyone in the process, then good for them.
