Is it just me or has Home and Away got the most unrealistic storylines. They have cults, stalkers, people being stuck in the bush for 3 weeks without food or water and still survive... I've always watched it but I think some of the storylines are a bit over the top.

I know what you mean - that 'Mama Rose' stuff was hilarious and totally unrealsistic! I watch for the sunshine and the sea - it's all escapism isn't it?, that's why it gets so ridiculous. Just one character, take Kim, he comes to the show alone, his father turns up as headmaster and is nasty (then turning into a fairly likeable character), they don't talk, they do talk, Kim has a baby - no he doesn't, Kim has another baby - oh no he doesn't, now Kim can't have babies!!!, his Dad killed his Mum after she killed his brother (don't forget Josh too!), he was a drug addict - now he isn't ....oh the drama it goes on and on....plus he's STILL sane!? As is Mathilda, Irene, Sally, Alf, Martha.....the whole cast! I'll still tune in at 6pm tho'!

What gets me is the fact that nearly every character, in one way or another, ends up in that flamin' hospital & with a private room as well. Summer Bay must be the most dangerous place on earth!

Its always been crazy.
I think the australians lead an exciting life (getting pregnant in your teens, marrying your partner who will die in a few weeks time) Just look at neighbours, they are just as interesting there; stealing babies, going to russia for a week and not remembering any of it!
us europeans are just boring i think.

Yeah I agree. I only watch it for the sun, sea and sand. lol
But did they have to break-up Jack and Martha. They were the best couple on it.
