hi frndz my sis is 13yrs old and she hadnt got her periods yet her frndz have got their periods......is something wrong wid her ????
is there a limit of starting of periods???? till wat age does it start ??? plz its urgent

No, there probably isn't a thing wrong with her. Most girls follow relatively the same path their mothers did. Perhaps her mother was a late bloomer. Most doctors don't tend to worry unless they are 16 or over and still not received one.
A few factors can affect this as well. Is she atheletic? Is she underweight? It's completely normal for very active teens to start later than most other girls.
Besides, one shouldn't be in too much of a hurry to grow up. Having a period is nothing to be jealous about. She should count not being cursed every 28 days a blessing for now. It will come when her body is ready.

My girl next door didn't start 'till she was 21y/o almost 22. She'll be 32 in a couple months. She has 2 healthy children. And she's been in a C to D cup bra from way back in the 4th grade. So it wasn't hormones. She just didn't start. She didn't rush it either.
Tell her to be happy she doesn't have to deal with it yet. Tell her all the stuff she doesn't have to deal with and to be glad she doesn't.

I am 13 and last time I went to the doctor last year I had no period. She told me that if I don't get it before Im 18 they have to check in my vagina and see what is wrong. Don't worry about it every girl will get it at a different time.

they can come frm da ages of 9-16, but the average ages are 12 and 13. so dont sweat

There's nothing wrong with your sister. Some girls don't start until they are 18. Everyone develops at different rates. She will start when her body is ready. It will most likely be in one or two years, but don't worry if it's not, there's nothing wrong with her. Don't worry about it! :)

she is a late bloomer, u can get ur period as late 16 yrs old or more, she is only 13 so at this time she is ok, but you should consalt a dr. there can be something wrong w/ her insides. dont sleep on it, ask ur family dr.

all different ages it all depends on how fast your body matures I have heard of people not starting until they were 17 and 18
