No. After all, almost all of us who are gay were raised by straight parents. Sexual orientation doesn't "rub off" from parent to child.

Our daughter is 19 - she just moved out to attend college. She was raised by me and my husband and she is not gay. She is a great person with an open mind about most things in life but straight. She is living with a friend from HS - a gay male! I guess we did not mess her up too badly!

LOL,. , it would be kinda cool but i dont think that just because your parents are gay, you'll be gay, reason i say that is because just because some one is gay doesnt mean that they do things in front of the child, me and my sister was raised by two women and my sister isnt gay, lol , ok i am but i let this girl turn me out..lol...

It has all but been proven (there's certainly a mountain of evidence which indicates) that homosexuality is not brought about by Nurture but rather is inherent to one's Nature.

So no, I don't think I would be gay were I to have been raised by gay parents. I would still be bi (as I am) even though I was raised by straight parents.

No. I was raised by two straight parents, and I'm gay. As much as people want to use that argument, it doesn't work.

This would mean that all children from straight parents would be straight. At the very least, gay parents would not disown their child for being either straight or gay, and they would be more tolerant to any "differences" their child bares.

Ok, let's ask MY son.

"Honey, are you gay?"

son: "Um, no...I've been dating _____ for two years! Why did you ask that? Mom, you're silly! You came from straight parents, but you're gay. I was raised by gay parents, but I'm straight. Mom, it's just the law of averages."

Even the logic of a seventeen year old.

No, you are born either gay or straight.

The only thing being raised by gay parents will accomplish is having an open-minded child.

I'm gay and both my kids are straight.

Every gay person I know including myself was raised by heterosexual parents and it change the fact that we were gay.

Of course not. I'm the product of straight parents and I'm gay.
