Once you sign with a job agency/recruitment company, your resume is filed in the area you applied for. When someone contacts the agency looking for that particular type of employee, your file is pulled.
If you meet the requirements, you are called on the phone, and told you have an interview on a certain day and a certain time, and you are asked to come by the agency to find out where you are to go.
Once there, you are interviewed, and told they will call you.
Next, if you are to be hired, they work out a fee with the agency. Sometimes the Employer will pay the fee, and sometimes YOU have to pay the fee.
Be careful, always make sure the employer will pay the fee, or you might be paying a lot of money out of your own pocket for the job.
Good luck. I wish you every success in finding a terrific job.

They look for jobs you have agreed with them to look for in your specialised sector. They will contact you once they have found some suitable jobs.

Many of the walk-in agencies are just bums on seats tho, so make sure you check out the company's background before you go for i/v to see if it's really what you want to do.

Good luck.

They should ring you with work...however, it would also be a good idea to give them a ring now and then if things seem a little slow - this way it'll show them that your keen, otherwise the jobs could keep going to other people all the time.

If you gave them your email address, they will automatically send you jobs everyday to choose from. That is if you had to fill in a form of the type of jobs you are interested in. Good luck! Hope you find something soon.

You are in their database. Just keep calling every Monday if they didn't call you in that week for an assignment. Something is bound to happen.
