Well, I took French for 8 years in high school and college, but I live in the Bootheel of Missouri, so I can't guarantee the pronunciation I was taught. However, taking a deep breath and believing I am correct, try "O -Goost". That first O is long, like Oh, heck, the chicken burned, and the second syllable is pronounced like Goose with a T. Bon chance!

The "AU" is pronounced like "O "
The "GU" is pronounced like in the English word "argument", followed by the sound ST (as in stitch).
