My husband isn't into the Cupid Day hype. He doesn't care for he candy or the cards, or even going out since it's always so freaking crowded. I'm always the one in charge of making it "special". Last year I cooked him his favorite meal and had our own candlelit dinner. Then as a gift, i got a shoe box, redecorated it, and filled it with his favorite dessert, fresh home made chocolate chip cookies. Then we made down the couch bed, and watched movies the rest of the night. I can tell you, it was so much more personal and special than ever going out any where.

You could go out to HIS favorite restaurant and let him order whatever he wants....you pay. Then, order one dessert with two forks. Feed each other the dessert. Who cares if people stare, it's Valentine's Day.

OR....

Some tickets to the cheap nosebleed seats to his favorite sporting event? You can see pretty much everything from the upper level.

I think that Valentine's gifts should come from the heart. You should get him things that remind you of him. Maybe a scrapebook of pictures of you two, letters, cards, etc... or maybe a cd of his favorite songs or something like that...

Valentine's Day doesn't mean much to men... it's more for the female persuasion, but if you really want to make your BF happy you need to observe the holiday on March 14th.... Steak and BJ Day.... if you don't believe me, look it up....

Cheap gifts guy like:
Food - Homemade
Sex (this can get really expensive with pregnancy and STD's)
Or how about this: Encourage him NOT to get you a present and be HAPPY when he doesn't get you one.

ok, im only 16..but just think about what he really likes. and just think about certain things that if you got them would he like them.. so think about if you got him a certain lovely necklace, would he like that..

i know its not much help, i have a boy friend, i got him, a necklace, a bracelet, a 'me to you' teddy ornament that says i love you, a cd and some chocolates.

xx
