low idle speeds, you need to do the basic stuff like get a tune up; oil change, air filter change, change your spark plugs, rotor, and distributor cap, and put some fuel injectore cleaner in your gas tank, and if those minor things don't work it could be a fuel filter, fuel injector, or a plethora of other things.

sounds like coolant problem. it is getting too hot so its trying to shut down so that it doesnt overheat
