Since there's a Black History month....... why isn't there a White History month, or a Hispanic History month, or an Asian History month???

Think about it...

This is like... reverse racism.

Now, let me try to explain this to you. Black people get Black History Month because of the centuries of racial abuse (mental and physical) that they faced and are still facing today. Do some research on Willie Lynch, or the word Picnic, etc. Maybe then you'll understand. White people treated Blacks like dogs, they trained them like animals to think and act a certain way (small).

The whole idea of Black History Month was started by a Black man. It is not racist for Blacks to want their poeple to know and remember their struggles and accomplishments. Hence the phrase: You can't know where you're going until you know where you've been!

It has nothing to do with racism towards Whites. White people came to America, killed Indians, and enslaved Africans to build this America that we live in.

Whites do not need to be celebrated for having all of the opportunities and breaks in life. There very well should be delegated months for Hispanics, Indians, Jewish, and every other race for that matter, but it's not up to Blacks to start that now is it.

Breaking color barriers is very difficult. I don't know of any Whites that died and risked the lives of their families so that they could drink from the same fountain as Blacks, or Indian. White people took what they wanted, including the land, women of every race that they encounter.

I could go on and on but I won't. Hopefully this helps you!

Because black peoples history have been robed from us in this country. Black History Month is a week attempt at teaching us about our history.

Black History in America is really American History because without black people there would have never been an America.

White history month is the the rest of the 11 out of the 12 month's left. White people get more studied in school then any other culture in America. But you are right they do need a Hispanic and Asian History month or week if they won't allow the month. We are already learning about white people and the white people aren't even paying attention.

Excuse me but there is an HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH..you idiot! blacks have suffered at the hands of the American Government for longer and harsher than any other ethnic group. I suppose you're "thinking here we go again" "When will they get over it?" "they're not the only people to suffer" Guess what!? we won't ever forget, we weren't the only to suffer but we are the only one's who have had our entire history destroyed and erased! So excuse me if we need a little month (which happens to be the shortest one at that!) To teach the younger black people that African Americans were not only slaves but inventors, scientist, educators and political leaders too! If we don't who will? certainly not the textbooks and certainly not YOU!

Well, over here, when it's not Black History Month we're learning about Henry VIII, Columbus and Julius Caesar.

i've got faith they could be. it is going to teach the evolution of hip hop from previous to recent. they are able to show out how everybody concept that hip hop substitute into going to be a passing fad. additionally, for the reason that not each and all of the suggested artists make consistently adverse music, i think of it would be a sturdy debate subject count on how human beings like Al, Jesse, and so on are rapid to assert that hip hop is corrupting the adolescents of immediately. i be conscious of a super form of folk say that they don't deserve a niche in historic previous, yet for the main section alot of hip hop stars have made signifigant contributions to society. no count if it substitute into beginning a charity, or giving money to the Katrina victims, or donating money to Africa for the water disaster....i think of those issues are enormous and should not pass unrecognized. merely through fact they're rappers, and could say b*tch each now and then, would not cause them to any much less significant. If invoice Clinton can get written into the historic previous books for gettin' his d*ck sucked....then actually Run DMC could have a place in the e book too....

I think it is important to study all cultures to truly understand them. I think that in a way black history month is like a way to give back to the blacks....After all we did treat them very badly...and some people still do.
