Personally, I like Shawn Marion the best. Also take into consideration that he's #2 in the league in steals, can shoot the 3-pointer consistently, and is very quick on the fast break. The Matrix is also usually tasked to guard most of the big names in the NBA, and in the 2005-2006 Season, he had the highest team percentage of almost all categories of the red-hot Suns that year. That team, by the way, went all the way to the Western Conference without Raja Bell, Kurt Thomas, and Amare Stoudamire. Who did Nash turn to in guarding the best players in the West that year (to include Kobe)? You guessed it...the Matrix. And, I might add, he did a helluva job.

Carmelo is the best scoring forward in the league. Sean Marion has a better fg% and more boards than Nowitski. Garnett has more rebounds, blocks, and assists. Elton Brand has a better fg% and more blocks. And that doesn't even count power forwards.

Rockstar: Kobe is a guard, genius!

Rockstar: Kobe is a guard.

I'm guessing you are looking for Dirk Nowitzki. However, he is not nearly as good as Shawn Marion. Marion is the best.

My personal favorites are Shane Battier and Emeka Okafor.

the greatest forward in the NBA would be Tim Duncan, in the season and playoffs look at his numbers, and what he has done for the team, and how many rings he got. no other forward now is close to him
