I have a Yucca plant and most of the leaves are starting to go brown and rot. It starts with little brown dots? (indoors)

It is hard to know what is wrong with your plant based on the information given. There is a lot of information available on the internet. A Yahoo search for "yucca care" (include the quotation marks in the Yahoo search box) yields 269 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find lots of useful and interesting information.

Good luck with your yucca plant.

It is a dessert growing plant that needs to be grown in full sun and requires infrequent watering. Only water when the soil is dry. Leaf browning is caused by too much or too little water, mites, not enough light or too much heat. The bottom leaves also turn brown and drop off naturally. You can remove the dead leaves from where the leaf grows from the trunk but use protective gloves as yuccas are very spiky.

Normally the edges and tips of plants turn brown due to lack of humidity. You can trim them off if you like and you should spray them with a fine water mist more often in the early part of the morning. That stopped mine from getting brown tips.
