UK. Wait til May, gently rake the soil. Buy good quality seeds and scatter them on the soil. Water. About 14 days you will see the grass pop its head up and say hello. To stop birds eating the seeds, scatter lawn sand over the seeds. Then think about buying a mower.

as long as you have sun you could use, and should use zozia ( spelling? ) sod or seed, let grow to a height of 4 inches during the summer, cut very low at the beginning of early summer or late fall. fertilize right before the next rain. you will have the best looking lawn for miles.

a lot of people believe it depends on the fertalizer or soil, but the real secret is that you have to put in the right care. you have to treat the grass gently, put a lot of love into it. it will respond to your love, not to your fertalizer.
