yes, Dumbledor is dead because his portrait is on the wall of his office now... BUT, he can still talk to harry from his portrait AND, if the subjects in the portraits can move to other pictures of themselves or pictures near their own, could dumbledor talk to harry through his CHOCOLATE FROG CARD? hmmmm? remember when dumbledor got in trouble in book 5 and taken off the wizengamont, he said he didn't care as long as they didn't take him off the chocolate frog cards... could he hacve forseen a need to be carried around in an angsty teen's pocket in the final book...?

No no no. HRH Ms Rowling has said so countless of times. Plus, the last book nicely wrapped and ribboned up the story. I get you though. I was much too young when the series first came out to be involved in the whole fandom and craziness of HP and I'm really bummed by that. But don't worry, I don't think the real HP faze will ever go away. Kinda like LOTR, but HP is better because LOTR needed the movies for most of its fans to get hooked to it.

I think Dumbledore is dead. but will still be a important character in the last book. Maybe harry will find some more of is memories, or a letter or something like that.
Kind of like Caesar, even though he dies in the third act he is still an important part of the whole play.

Yea I think Dumbledore is dead. But his portrait is there, right? We'll get to know more about Snape, Lily, etc...

I think Dumbledore is totally dead. I think Snape had to do it though, I don't think Snape is really evil.
