Most definitely. Like using a mobile phone, it can result in an accident. A man once killed someone as a result of reaching for a sweet while driving. Those people on here who thinks it's ridiculous would want the blood of the driver who killed a loved one as a result of eating while driving.

If you need at least 1 hand to eat/drink it , then it could be a distraction.
Chewing gum is fine.
The charge would probably be 'Driving Without Due Care and Attention'
If you need to eat or drink then stop, eat drink, and when you've finished resume your journey.
Sometimes all the Police need is an excuse! Don't give it to them!
