alot of people dont know the difference at all!!! i think that almost everybody had got a little bit of predijudce in them but i wouldnt even call it that, more of a sterotype of that certain race that causes them to belittle that race. now im not saying that u have to hate a race. just more that everybody has their own opinions...

Most people are merely prejudice as that is natural, but Racism is a Philosophy which decrees that a race is superior or inferior on the basis of color alone, and that is not natural, but learned! Prejudice merely means that you have formed an opinion an are generalizing before investigating, a character flaw in some situations, but also a way that you extrapolate new ideas from previous experiences.racism is rather a sign of ignorance and is based on incorrect or faulty incomplete information. It precludes learning differently without alteration of a world view. People throw the word racist around a lot without understanding that they should be using the word bigot or prejudice instead

Yes, all people are prejudiced. It is a natural life saving response to something that is unfamiliar to you- you draw on any previous experiences you may have had, to make a snap judgement on how to respond to a new situation. Discrimination is another thing again. This is more of a conscious decision to deliberately single out certain groups or individuals.
This is of course not intended to suggest that it is OK to harbour any prejudice, I am just saying that a certain amount is necessary for survival.
Racism is often due to ignorance of other cultures, and sometimes due to apprehension- the fear ofthe unknown. Racism is an extreemly complex subject- sadly, I think it will be with us for some time yet.

Some people probably don't know the difference. If you're a racist you'll be prejudice strictly based on race. If you're prejudiced you have a bias against something, someone or a group. Like you can be anti-gay, anti-religion, anti-women/men etc..I believe most people are prejudice not racist, but I could be wrong.

Neither. People just like to make out that they are. The amount of racist or predjudice remarks that I have heard in my life are minimal. They only seem to come around when people go to war.

Racism is the aversion to some ones creed, colour, or religeon, as exhibited by bin laden and his freak followers extremism, what sane person could hack someones head off, or blow children to bits. Predjudice is the avoidance of things you do not like or agree with , usually by your own or your siblings experience, i.e. do not touch that flame! reply , OUCH!. Beware of hoodys in dark places, MOM iv'e been mugged. Before any nannies slag me off, you are welcome to do so, if, what I have written in this reply is not true. I do get so fed up of those mutton heads, replying before even reading and understanding what is in front of them. I hope this helps you out..

A racist is prejudiced against a man or woman or team in accordance with their race, so the two are linked. definite your acquaintances are racist of their comments approximately Asians and Mexicans. White persons are no longer the only ones able to racism.

personally i don't feel like many people are racist or prejudice. most people today don't mind being around or being friends with a person of another race. i feel society has just created a steriotype of all races, so we assume all people follow that. also, the few people that do exhibit racism, corrupt our society and make eveybody seem racist or predjudist.

most people are predjudce - with blacks it is known as ' the slave mind ' they carry out the grudge against whites daily - ones that have that mentality
if anyone is ' thuged out' whether white or black - I am predjudiced- they were the colours of a gang etc - I use caution and try to delicately and discretely leave thier area and never return to it

Some people can be both and some can be neither and sme can be one or the other it depends who you're talking to!
